At Sherwood Dance Academy, our goal is to provide an opportunity to discover and develop a love of the moving arts; and realize that this love, when nurtured in a proper environment, can be studied throughout life. We strive to provide a well-rounded dance education, which focuses on technique as well as fun and affordability! Whether or not a student wishes to take classes at Sherwood Dance Academy for competition or fun- it is a great place to dance!

This week at Sherwood Dance Academy:
* New Evening Pre-Ballet??? We have heard that there is interest to have an early evening pre-ballet class for 3-5 year olds that takes place after parents get off work. Please let us know if you have interest in signing up for this class. It will be on Tuesdays from 5:00-5:30pm. If we get enough interest for this class we will put it on the schedule.
* New Colored Leotards! We will now be carrying four different colors of leotards. Along with our regular black and bright pink, we now have purple and royal blue. Any one of these colors may now be worn to class. Just remember to leave the skirts at home!
* Fall Registration! Registration for Fall term has started! Click

sherwooddance@yahoo.com, or call us at 503-625-8868. All we need is the class you want, your name, the students name, and your phone number. Be sure to re-register even if you want to stay in the same class so that you can secure your spot.
* Recital Videos! All recital videos are complete. Come pick up your copy in the studio lobby during any office hours. Enjoy!
* Pictures! Debbie Meador's pictures are in! They are set up in the studio lobby. Just find your child's picture and don't forget to look for the cd with all the pictures on it tucked inside the picture frame.

* Summer Term Ends The last day of summer term is Friday, August 29th.
* Between Term Break Sherwood Dance Academy's studio and office will be closed Monday, September 1st through Friday, September 5th.
* Fall Term! Fall term begins Monday, September 8th.
Announcements:
* The "New" BIG Room! The big room now has a new 'sprung' double layer wood floor with a vinyl dance surface. It is great to have this room finished for our bigger classes and adult modern, jazz, and ballet classes. With this new floor comes the strict enforcement of an old rule: PLEASE! Absolutely NO street shoes. You can take off your shoes outside the room and put them in the available cubbies right outside the door. and ENJOY!
