 Our goal is to provide an opportunity to discover and develop a love of the moving arts, and to realize that this love, when nurtured in a proper enviornment, can be studied throughout life. We strive to provide a well-rounded dance education, which focuses on technique as well as fun and affordability! Whether or not a student wishes to take classes at Sherwood Dance Academy for competition or fun- it is a great place to dance!

* Winter/Spring Registration! The term has started and we are always welcoming new students. Check out the Winter/Spring Schedule to find an open class that works for you.
Coming up:
*Dress-Up Week! The 15th-20th of February is Dress-Up Week. Your child may come to dance class in their favorite costume or dress-up clothes. We have a whole costume rack we will set up in the lobby if you would like to borrow some dress-up clothes from us.
Announcements:
* Birthdays at SDA! Birthday reservations for January and February have been filling up fast. We even have some planned already for March and April. Make your reservation soon for your child's upcoming Birthday Party!
* Helping Hands: During our Winter Showcase in December we raised over 900 pounds of food for Helping Hands of Sherwood. Wow!!! We have decided that each month at Sherwood Dance Academy we will be collecting items for Helping Hands. The Donation Bin is located in the hall outside the business office. Thank you so much for your continued generosity!
* Severe Weather: Sherwood Dance Academy follows the Sherwood School District severe weather policy. If Sherwood Schools are closed due to severe weather, then our classes are cancelled as well. If SSD has a weather related delayed start, then Sherwood Dance Academy classes begin at 11:00am (all classes before 11:00am are cancelled). When classes are cancelled for severe weather there will be an announcement on our outgoing phone message, on our website's home page, and on our Facebook page. Students who have their class cancelled will receive dance dollars in the amount of the missed class.
