Nissa Howard studied Hatha Yoga with the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago, Illinois.  She has also explored Ananda Yoga, Bikram Yoga, and Iyengar Yoga.  She fuses these traditions for a well rounded, multi-faceted Yoga class.  Nissa is also a Certified Personal Trainer, which gives her the background to build strength and health in her Yoga class.  Her philosophy in Yoga, as well as life, is to Inquire Within.  "Inquire Within to heal, to grow, to relax, to be free.  When the mind, body and spirit are working together in your life, miracles happen." She is currently enrolled in Shamanic healing studies and has begun to integrate energy healing into her class.  Her focus with this work is to remove judgement through the eyes by having the class experience yoga with eyes closed.  There has been tremendous feedback from students moving through emotions, healing broken illusions, and simply raising their entire fibration.  She also homeschools her daughter and is happily married with lots of furry babies (cats and dogs).
