Get to know Taylor better:

When did you start dancing and why did you keep dancing?  I started dancing when I was two years old and I’ve continued dancing throughout my entire life because it allows me to express myself and gives me a break from the stress of reality.

Why did you want to become a dance instructor?  I began classes at SDA seven years ago and I really felt a connection with the studio and wanted to start a career here.

Do you still dance or take dance lessons even though you are an instructor?  Although I teach a few classes, I am still an active member of Showstoppers program.

What is your favorite style of dance and why?  My favorite style of dance is Lyrical/contemporary because there is a lot of variety of dance within those styles.

What is the hardest part about dance to you and why?  To me, the hardest part about dance is continuing to grow and evolve into a better/more advanced dancer.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of the studio or besides teaching dance?  My favorite thing to do outside of dance is hang out with the other girls from the Senior Showstoppers class.

What is your favorite dance quote and why?  My favorite dance quote is, “I dance to live, I dance to breathe, I dance to be free, I dance to be me” because it really expresses how I feel about dancing.

Random tidbits:  I’m very excited to teach at SDA and grow my career as a dancer.
