The Feelings of Dance, by Gemma

My name is Gemma and I am in Showstoppers and Lyrical. I have been at SDA for 6 or 7 years. Here are some things that dance makes me feel:
Dancing helps me feel free and helps me cope with emotions. Also dancing helps me by distracting me from stress and helping me stay positive. It also helps me take all my emotions and put them into stronger technique and preciseness. Another thing is I feel very happy when I dance because it’s something I enjoy! Also I get to be with people I connect to and relate to.
I love dancing at SDA because I can trust my dance academy and feel happy with the people I trust. I can dance strong and hard with the effort I put in when I feel happy! When I feel emotional, I can put my efforts into dance to then have the best emotion.
The impact it gives me is that I become flexible and it gets me moving. It also gets me into a community and I’m more positive. I love SDA! It is such a great place and I love it a lot!
