Reasons to Love SDA, by Harper

Sherwood Dance Academy is one of my favorite places to be. I feel as if I can express my feelings into the music and into the way I move myself. These are some of the reasons I love SDA:

One reason that I am thankful for dance is because all of the teachers are amazing! They go above and beyond for all their dancers and make it so their dancers have the best experience they could possibly have at SDA. Also the amount of assistants that are teenagers is amazing. For example I got to assist once for a little girl’s acro class and I’m only ten years old. This is only one reason that SDA is amazing.

The second reason SDA is awesome is all of the dancers are amazing! They go into a dance class and come out way better than they were before and they love to dance. It is awesome to see dancers in classes with their friends and they have a huge smile on their face. I have been dancing with SDA for eight years now. That’s right–– since I was two! All of the teachers have stayed and lots of people I dance with when I was two are still at SDA. It is crazy how all of the teachers can get these dancers to stay at their studio.

My last reason that I love SDA and believe they are loving, amazing, kind, and helpful is because of their community. I love how hard SDA worked to create this community that they’ve had for years. Another thing I love is getting to see the ladies in the office when I’m at the studio. One of my favorite parts of getting to dance is the conversations with all of my dance friends and the ladies in the office between classes.

Those are all of my reasons that I love and recommend you dance with SDA. SDA is a huge part of my life; it’s the chorus to my song and the best thing that ever happened to me. SDA is everything to me and could be to you too.
