Gratitude
Winter Showcases
This past Saturday our studio celebrated with everything we love most—joyful dancing, excited families, and a whole lot of heart. Our dancers shined on stage at our Winter Showcases, sharing their hard work and confidence. Each performance was a reminder of why we do what we do: to watch young people grow, connect, and express themselves through movement.
We’re proud to share that the day also raised enough money to keep our scholarship going for the entire next year and will allow us to support even more dancers. We’re also amazed at the incredible amount of food donated. Helping Hands of Sherwood is grateful for our continued support. Every ticket sold and every can of food donated helps strengthens our ability to give back to the community that lifts us up.
My Gratitude
Now, as we begin Gratitude Week at the studio, it feels like the perfect moment to reflect on what I’m grateful for.
I’m grateful for our dancers, who show up with determination, curiosity, and courage.
I’m grateful for the families who trust us with their children and cheer loudly from the audience.
I’m grateful for the SDA Team, whose passion and creativity shape each week- in the classroom, in the office, and on stage.
I’m grateful for this community—kind, supportive, generous, and wonderfully connected.
Thank you all for making the Winter Showcases such a meaningful day, and for filling our studio with gratitude not just this week, but all year long. Here’s to a season of warmth, connection, and celebrating all the good around us 💜.
