June 2026 Monthly Memo
We’ve made it to June and the last couple weeks of our incredible dance season! This week is the last week of classes at the studio. Next week we are at Newberg High School for dress rehearsals. So this week is Celebration Week! We are so proud of all of our dancers and want to celebrate their accomplishments this Dance Season.
Your enrollment automatically ends with the recital, so your June tuition payment will be your last unless you re-enroll. We have the 2026 Summer and 2026-27 Dance Season schedules both available for registration and we would love to dance with everyone again! Summer term includes 7 weeks of classes and a FREE Summer Showcase at Stella Olsen Park on Saturday, August 22nd.

Leading
Our mission at SDA is Empowering Students and Community Through Dance and this month our focus is on Leading! Being a leader doesn’t mean you’re someone who is in charge and has others follow. Being a leader means you are a good example for others -like treating people with respect, communicating your ideas, and trying your best.
Watch for our Leading worksheet this month. Have your dancer complete the worksheet during Celebration Week and bring it to the office for a chance to pick a prize out of our treasure box! Dancers who have completed every worksheet during the Dance Season (that’s all 10 worksheets!) will receive a special gift from us 💜
